Corporate Flight maintenance relocates facility

Smyrna, Tenn.-based Corporate Flight Management (CFM) has expanded its maintenance division’s capacity by moving it from two relatively small hangars to a complex across the airport that provides an 80-percent increase in hangar space and five times more office space.

“The main reason for this move was the lack of space. Additional expansion in the old location was out of the question,” said Leon Custers, CFM vice president for maintenance. “This facility gives us the opportunity to increase productivity by consolidating our mechanics, managers and parts department into a larger, more efficient workspace. This will translate into improved job turnaround times for customers.”
