Delta Awards its Frequent Charter Fliers

Passengers on Delta AirElite, the business-jet charter subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, can now earn frequent-flier segments that can be used on the company’s airline flights. Charter customers will be awarded one segment for every $2,500 in AirElite fares. Accumulating 30 segments within one calendar year will earn Silver Medallion status; 60 segments, Gold Medallion status; and 100 segments, Platinum Medallion status. Eighteen-year-old Delta AirElite claims it has access to more than 250 business jets.
