Content Body

Orbit Communications, the third-largest provider of satellite TV, bought at auction the software and other assets of defunct FlightTime.com and its AirCharter.com online charter brokerage. Orbit said it hasn’t decided what it will do with the software.
“We are looking at a lot of options, but we have not reached a final decision,” Orbit president and CEO Jay Echouafi told AIN. He added that if Orbit, a privately held, employee-owned company, reactivates FlightTime.com online, “We would take care of the people who got hurt and earn their business back.” FlightTime.com is online but it is not booking flights at this time.
