Honeywell Ready To Add More Zing To TFE731

Honeywell expects to complete field evaluation testing of its Zing remote diagnostic service for TFE731 engines by the end of next month. So far, the Zing system has accumulated more than 1,500 flight hours on a Hawker 800 and performed more than 275 downloads of engine data at U.S. and international airports. According to Honeywell, Zing will be available for TFE731-powered Hawkers through dealers and service centers starting in July. Zing downloads engine data and transmits it wirelessly via the Internet, providing maintenance personnel with data and analysis of their engine health reports.
