The first AW119Ke single-turbine helicopter with a Versace interior has been ordered by a private customer in Russia, AgustaWestland (Booth No. 7550) announced here at EBACE. It has a six-seat cabin and will be flown in VIP/corporate operations. The manufacturer claims to have sold 14 commercial helicopters of various types in Russia.
In Turkey, AgustaWestland has delivered two AW109 light twins to Kaan Havacilik. The helicopter operator is also the distributor of AgustaWestland’s commercial helicopters in the country. One of the new helicopters has a five-seat Elite VIP/corporate transport layout. The other aircraft is configured with six seats; it will be operated by transportation group HaliKarnas.

Another recent delivery has been that of an AW139 medium twin to Atlantic Airways, the Faroe Islands’ national airline. The helicopter is configured for 12- or 15-seat layouts for both public passenger transport and offshore operations.
