Boeing Starts Work on First BBJ3

Boeing (Booth No. 7479) here at EBACE announced that it has begun work this week on the first BBJ3, a new larger business jet based on the 737-900ER. The BBJ3 was launched in October 2006 and is expected to enter service next year with an unidentified customer. Boeing received FAA approval for the 737-900ER in April last year and EASA certification last month. According to Boeing Business Jets, the BBJ3 has 1,120 sq ft of floor space. No price has yet been released for the bizliner.
