Flexjet Globals will base use on days or hours

 With the coming introduction of the Global Express into the Bombardier Flexjet fractional-ownership fleet, allocated usage will be based on days or hours, a departure from other fractional programs. A one-eighth share will provide up to 30 days or 125 hr a year and a half share entitles owners to 120 days or 500 hr. A one-eighth share in the Global costs about $5.6 million, in addition to a monthly management fee of $27,500 and an hourly occupied rate of $3,100. Bombardier claims that, depending on average daily use rates, this program will offer owners up to 25 percent more hours in the Global for roughly the same price than comparable aircraft in other fractional programs.
