DASSAULT FALCON 10, LAWRENCE, KAN., DEC. 9, 2001–The nose of a 1984 Falcon 10 (N202DN) suddenly pitched down while flaring to land at Lawrence Municipal Airport and the aircraft slammed onto the runway.  The jet suffered substantial damage but there were no reported injuries to the occupants. The twinjet was registered to Air Del, Inc. of Jackson, Miss. Weather was VFR and the airplane was completing an IFR flight from Madison, Miss. The airplane was 12 mi southeast of Lawrence when the pilot cancelled IFR, the last radio contact.
