Maintenance News: Lufthansa Technik gets German AEO status

German customs authorities have awarded Lufthansa Technik Logistik authorized economic operator (AEO) status in recognition of the company’s adherence to comprehensive security and safety guidelines laid down by the European Union.

The new status means the company will be granted certain simplifications such as accelerated authorization processes, fewer customs inspections of goods and documents, reduced datasets for advance notification before import or export and a higher degree of trust due to its AEO quality seal.
