RMS updates internet offering

RMS Technology (Booth No. 4642) recently announced major changes to the Flitesoft Commercial update service. The flight-planning program provides coverage in North America for turbine- and piston-powered aircraft. The Internet-based update service includes program changes, updates to the data every 28 days and raster images of current charts for planned routes. A full year of this service is $209, including updates to affected manual pages. Updates for the Flitesoft Worldwide program cost $309 per year.  Flitesoft uses Digital Aeronautical Flight Information File (DAFIF) data and includes graphic and automatic flight planning, weight-and-balance checks, weather briefings, a bargain fuel locator, a pilot logbook and functions to automate flight planning.
