UK charter operator London Executive Aviation (LEA) has opened a new base at Farnborough Airport, locating one of its two Cessna Citation Bravos there. The company also has bases at the downtown London City Airport and at Stapleford Airport on the northeast side of the British capital. London Executive Aviation also recently ordered a third Citation Excel, which will be delivered in November next year. In addition to the existing Excels and Bravos, the operator’s 14-strong fleet also includes three Citation IIs, a pair of Beech King Air 200s, two Piper Navajo Chieftains and three Senecas. The company also holds orders for five Citation Mustangs and one Sovereign. These deliveries are due to start in 2005, which is when the company expects a marked upturn in demand for executive charter in Europe, following a couple of flat years.
