Part 91 operators urged to attend TSA training

As of mid-August, 79 people from 31 Part 91 flight departments had participated in several Transportation Security Administration Access Certificate (TSAAC) training sessions at two New York metropolitan airports: Westchester County (HPN) and Morristown (MMU). NBAA is encouraging more operators from HPN, MMU and the original TSAAC test protocol airport, Teterboro, to apply for TSAACs to demonstrate to federal officials that corporate operators have security programs in place that qualify them for the same access to airspace and airports as Part 121 operators.
