Muirhead Offers New Luxury Leather

The Scottish firm of Andrew Muirhead & Son is introducing a luxury leather called Arisaig, named after a section of Scotland’s west coast renowned for its natural beauty. According to the Glasgow-based company, it is made from the best quality hides from British beef cattle. The hides are put through a wet process to ensure a through-dye quality and they are then finished with a specially formulated resin top coat. Arisaig comes in 16 colors and the leather meets or exceeds UK BS6608 requirements for leather quality, as well as Crib 5 and CAA airworthiness standards.
