Content Body

ExecuJet South Africa is adding maintenance services at its new FBO at Cape Town International Airport. The company, a subsidiary of ExecuJet Aviation Group, will move into the new ExecuJet Business Centre in October. At ExecuJet’s Lanseria International Airport maintenance division, near Johannesburg, EASA has granted that facility Part 145 approved maintenance organization status, and ExecuJet plans to extend that approval to its Cape Town facility. The Part 145 approval covers line and base maintenance for European-registered aircraft, including engines and components. “We are extremely proud to have obtained this EASA approval,” said Ettore Poggi, managing director of ExecuJet South Africa. “This is a testament to the quality of our staff, their hard work, training and skills.” In South Africa, ExecuJet is factory-authorized by Bombardier, Honeywell (engines and avionics), Dassault and Gulfstream. ExecuJet has the only Pratt & Whitney Canada- and Honeywell-calibrated engine test cell in Africa.
