Italy’s Bologna Airport held an official presentation ceremony for the new general aviation terminal (TAG or Terminal Avizione Generale) on September 16. The two-story terminal with attached hangar was built to serve the growing amount of international business aviation traffic at Bologna, which now accounts for 5,500 flights per year. The facility has been operating since April and offers full FBO services, including crew rooms, conference rooms, catering, dedicated security and passenger waiting areas. TAG is operated by Sirio Private Aviation, which owns 24.5 percent of the three-way TAG partnership. The other partners are Sab-Bologna Airport (51 percent) and B.Group (24.5 percent).
