The FAA has approved Century CRM’s NBAA professional development program (PDP) course, “Resource Management for Aviation Leaders,” as an inspection authorization (IA) refresher-training course for maintenance professionals. The agency has officially designated it “Human Factors, Safety Management Systems and Technical Training for Maintenance Professionals.”
“The value to maintenance professionals and department heads is that an individual taking the course not only accumulates Certified Aviation Manager credits but fulfills FAA IA requirements as well,” said Steve Hopkins, chief instructor for Century CRM. Located in Peachtree City, Ga., Century CRM specializes in aircrew training in the field of human factors and crew resource management.
