Executive Beechcraft celebrates 70th year

Kansas City, Mo.-based Executive Beechcraft celebrated its 70th year in business on November 15. With four FBOs–at Kansas City Downtown Airport, Kansas City International, New Century Airport and Spirit of St. Louis Airport–Executive Beechcraft has a long history as a provider of FBO services, aircraft sales, maintenance and avionics services and aircraft management. “We’ve been here through it all,” says Ed Chevrestt, vice president and general manager. Executive Beechcraft is now a sister company to FBO chain Signature Flight Support, following Signature parent BBA Aviation’s purchase of the four FBOs last year. The Kansas City Downtown FBO is currently undergoing renovations, scheduled to be completed early next year. “The EB family is a great team with a proud 70-year tradition,” Chevrestt said. “Seventy years in this competitive business is a testament to company founder Dan Meisinger, Sr. and the people who have made EB a success.”
