Content Body

Project Phoenix, launched in 2007 to broker the acquisition and sale of CRJ200 regional jets in an executive configuration, recently announced an agreement with remote medical assistance specialist MedAire to provide a complimentary MedAire package. It will include a one-year subscription that connects passengers and crew to doctors at MedAire’s 24/7 MedLink Global Response center in Phoenix.

In addition, three CRJ crewmembers will receive first-responder medical training that will allow access to the on-board MedAire first aid kit and an automated external defibrillator.

The first Phoenix CRJ is at the Flying Colours completion and refurbishment facility in Peterborough, Ontario, for interior completion work. The large-cabin, 15-passenger twinjet will be delivered late this month to Ritz Pacific, which will place it with charter and management provider Jet Asia of Macau. The addition of an auxiliary fuel system by Flying Colours will give the aircraft a range of more than 3,000 nm.
