Despite sagging economies worldwide, the demand for CRJ200 conversions to executive configuration appears to be gaining momentum. One of the latest CRJ200 sales was by Project Phoenix to Egyptian actor and martial arts professional Yousef Mansour for a 12-passenger version.

As with other Project Phoenix projects, the conversion and interior completion work will be done by Flying Colours at its Peterborough, Ontario facility. The airplane is scheduled for delivery in September.

The reconfigured twinjet, managed by ExecuJet Middle East, will be used to fly Mansour and his film crews on location.

It will also be shared by several Middle East colleagues in a private charter role.
