Rectrix Aerodrome Centers has opened a second FBO, at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in Florida, which joins the company’s first FBO in Hyannis, Mass. Rectrix Sarasota is housed in a 15,000-sq-ft three-story glass tower next to 150,000 sq ft of hangar space and 15 acres of concrete ramps. Rectrix spent nearly $25 million on the new facility, which includes passenger and crew lounges, meeting rooms and five-star-hotel-style lobbies and facilities. Hangar space is available for ownership under Rectrix’s Hangarminium program. “This place is spectacular,” said Sarasota airport director Rick Piccolo. “There is no facility like this anywhere in Florida, and we are happy that Rectrix elected to invest in Sarasota and bring such a great product to our corporate and leisure travelers.”
