FAA Certifies S550 Modifications

The FAA has issued a Supplemental Type Certificate to Clifford Development for modification of Cessna Citation 550s and S550s with Williams International FJ44-3A engines. Four Clifford installation centers will do the modifications: Great Lakes Aviation of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Threshold Aviation of Chino, Calif.; Central Flying Service of Little Rock, Ark.; and Stevens Aviation of Greenville, S.C. The modification includes the new engines, Ametek digital engine display, heavy-duty Goodrich brakes and dual-fadec engine controls.
