Web Program Improves English Skills

Carnegie Speech Company and the UK’s Mayflower College have launched “Climb Level 4,” an online English training product for pilots and air traffic controllers. The program helps aviation professionals improve their English speaking and listening skills to reach ICAO Level 4 or Level 5. The 100-hour tutorial closely follows recommendations made in ICAO document 9835 and features artificial intelligence and speech recognition technologies licensed from Carnegie Mellon University.
