New Branson Airport Nears Opening

A new privately funded $155 million, 900-acre regional airport will open May 11 in Branson, Mo. The towered airfield will feature a 7,140-foot-long concrete runway,
a business aviation terminal and a 58,000-sq-ft airline terminal. The executive side features a terminal with pilot lounges, briefing rooms and passenger lounges; four condominium hangars with private offices; five community/private hangars; and full FBO services. Plans are also in the works to add MRO facilities on the field.
