Blackhawk Modifications has received EASA approval for its Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-135A upgrade program for the Conquest I.
Jim Allmon, Blackhawk CEO and president, said the company has already upgraded 16 percent of the Conquest I fleet and has the largest non-OEM engine contract in force with Pratt & Whitney Canada. The engines are priced based on the P&WC exchange program and credit is issued for time remaining to overhaul on core PT6A-112s. The XP135A package can be installed by Blackhawk’s global network of 35 distributors.
