Dubai-based Palm Aviation is here at the EBACE show (Booth No. 1069) to discuss plans for its new FBO, the first to be built at the new Al Maktoum International Airport. The airport is part of the vast Dubai World Central (DWC) complex currently under construction at Jebel Ali, about 30 miles from the city center. Palm’s $11 million 80,000-sq-ft facility will cater to the anticipated growth in the area, which DWC authorities expect to top more than 30 percent annually over the next five years.

Having established itself in the Middle East, the business aviation services group is looking to expand its recognition in other regions. “Palm Aviation is now extending its reach to other international markets from where flights originate to the Middle East and Africa, and to where flight support services are at a premium,” said Mohammad Saideh, Palm’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer. “EBACE presents us with the perfect platform to build on this regional foundation.”
