BBA Opens Service Centers in South Africa, India

BBA Aviation’s engine repair and overhaul (ERO) group has expanded its international service support network with the opening of field service centers in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Mumbai, India. The new centers will provide troubleshooting, parts support, borescope inspection and on-wing hot section inspection and repairs. BBA Aviation’s ERO group includes Dallas Airmotive, H+S Aviation and Premier Turbines, all of which are OEM authorized for turbine engine repair and overhaul. Willy Harmon, vice president of international sales for the company, said, “We are confident these new centers will provide a foundation for additional growth and capacity in their respective regions as well as a platform for expansion into new markets.” The company currently has more than 120 field service technicians worldwide to provide 24-hour on-call assistance.
