Freedom Aero Service adds EASA part 145 designation

California-based Freedom Aero Service has received EASA Part 145 approval; the MRO was granted FAA Part 145 approval in January. The company’s customer base includes operators in England, Germany and Scandinavia, said president Scott Durham.

“This gives us the flexibility to repair articles for installation on the aircraft
of our European Union clients,” he said.

“It also gives our domestic customers the advantage of being able to stock parts we repair for sale overseas.” The company specializes in the repair and sale of instruments and electrical accessories for the corporate jet and helicopter markets.
