MAC Finishes Second Falcon 20 for Egypt Air

MAC Aircraft Interior Specialists has completed refurbishment of the second of three Falcon 20s for Egypt Air. The first aircraft was finished late last year and work has begun on the third airplane.

The refurbishment project was part of an unusual arrangement involving resources of both MAC and Egypt Air maintenance and engineering. MAC handled refinishing the walnut veneer, restyling and recovering the seats, and re-plating the metal at its facilities in the UK. Egypt Air did the installation work at its facilities in Cairo.
The project has resulted in an “all-encompassing memorandum of understanding
with Egypt Air” that will allow partnership on future projects, according to MAC managing director Stephen Whittaker.
