Guardian Mobility’s Guardian 3i GPS tracking device has gained a Transport Canada supplemental type certificate on Beech 1900C and 1900D turboprops and will be installed in the fleet of Northern Thunderbird Air, which offers scheduled and
nonscheduled air charter services in the Pacific Northwest. Bill Hesse of Northern Thunderbird said, “We chose Guardian as a cost-effective way to optimize our dispatch operations for flights to remote areas and to implement our safety protocol.” Northern Thunderbird is adopting flight tracking as part of its safety management system. The Guardian 3i delivers data via the Iridium satellite network and also displays to Northern Thunderbird customers a real-time feed of aircraft location using Guardian’s advanced mapping system. Guardian Mobility (Booth No. 4759) offers a full range of GPS aircraft tracking solutions.
