NATA Roundtable Gathers Key Policy Makers

More than 65 aviation business leaders shared their concerns about critical issues with FAA, DOT and TSA leaders and political, policy and financial experts at the National Air Transportation Association Aviation Business Roundtable. FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt assured attendees that the agency is working on the lack of standardization of regulatory interpretations. He and DOT Secretary Ray LaHood acknowledged that FAA reauthorization is a priority but that Congress is focusing first on health-care reform. The next layer of the NextGen ATC system is implementation of the en route modernization system.
