VIH, HNZ Team in Australia

Canada-based offshore operator VIH Aviation Group (VIH) and New Zealand-based HNZ Group last month announced the formation of a joint venture to provide offshore helicopter services in Australia and its coastal regions. The Perth, Australia-based company will have a fleet of Sikorsky S-92s, Eurocopter EC 225s and AgustaWestland AW139s to provide “a full range of services” in support of oil and gas activities, including passenger handling, flight following, passenger movement, cargo, aerial crane, aerial surveillance, emergency response, air ambulance and search-and-rescue.
