CitationAir Recalls 16 Furloughed Pilots

Business jet solutions provider CitationAir by Cessna early last month recalled 16 pilots from furlough, representing approximately 20 percent of those furloughed earlier last year. Meanwhile, 13 percent of pilots who were previously downgraded to first officer were promoted to captains. According to company CEO Steve O’Neill, the move came after a “significant uptick” in CitationAir’s jet management business. The announcement also came in conjunction with news that the company will add the Citation X to its program.
