After more than a year operating as a civilian airport, Newquay Cornwall Airport in the UK welcomed a new FBO facility built by Midwest Executive Aviation. The company used to operate from an office in the airport’s terminal building because the airport was a military facility until December 2008. “We have worked closely with the airport management,” said Midwest Aviation managing director Nick Weston, “and we now have a long-term strategy that will develop Newquay Cornwall Airport as a key business aviation airport in many years to come.” Amenities at the Newquay Cornwall FBO include free parking next to the FBO, crew and passenger lounges, rest facilities, wireless Internet access and a flight-planning desk.
