Rockwell Finalizes Acquisition of AR Group

Early last month, Rockwell Collins completed the acquisition of AR Group and its affiliated companies, including business aviation trip-support services provider Air Routing International. During the transition, the company will be known as “Air Routing International, a Rockwell Collins Company.” According to Rockwell Collins v-p and general manager of information management Steve Timm, “One of our growth strategies is to extend beyond products and systems to bring value-added applications and services for flight operations. Air Routing’s expertise in flight planning and trip support is a natural fit with this strategy.” Air Routing, which has been providing flight departments with trip-planning services for more than 30 years, recently extended its offerings to give customers online access to its flight support tools.
