Banyan Air Service is hosting Bahamas Day on February 20 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to help pilots and charter customers learn about trips to the Bahamas. During the day, Banyan’s Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport FBO, transformed to look and feel like a Bahamas resort, will offer three seminars: “eAPIS” by U.S. Customs, “Flying to the Bahamas” by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and “Preparing Your Aircraft for Overwater Flight” by Premier Aircraft. Bahamas exhibitors will also be on hand to share information about resorts, hotels and activities, and charter operators will also be exhibiting their services. Banyan is one of the Bahamas tourism ministry’s preferred gateway FBOs, which are trained to help pilots learn how to fly to and from the Bahamas Islands. Gateway FBOs Volo Aviation (Fort Pierce) and Showalter Flying Service (Orlando) will host future Bahamas Day events.
