Touching Bases: Panorama Renovates Lobby, Ramp at Westchester facility

Panorama Flight Service at Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y., completed a major renovation of its FBO and held a celebration to mark the occasion on November 20. The renovation makes Panorama the only FBO at the airport “whose terminal lobby is situated with a full view of our service ramp where passengers arriving and departing flights can be staged conveniently in close proximity to our terminal,” according to FBO president Gene Condreras.

Completed in just 51 days, the renovation added attractive new décor and furnishings with granite, stone and wood appointments as well as a new refreshment center featuring sandwiches, salads and cold drinks. Most noticeable to arriving pilots is the elimination of light poles on Panorama’s ramp, creating more usable ramp space by moving the lights to a building-mounted system.
