International Water-Guard Has Cause To Celebrate

International Water-Guard has marked some highlight events recently, among them delivery of its 2,000th water treatment unit (for installation in a Dassault 2000LX) and delivery of the first of the new IWG-A6 unit to Gulfstream Aerospace for the new
G650.

The IWG technology uses a part of the ultraviolet spectrum that destroys micro-organisms but does not affect the taste of the water. The treatment unit is incorporated into the aircraft potable water system.

While ensuring that the necessary ultraviolet light is produced to disinfect the water supply, a self-monitoring system in the IWG-A6 scans for a range of fault conditions, which are reported to a cabin management system.
