Hearing Scheduled on F’boro traffic

The public inquiry into Tag Aviation’s application to increase the total number of permitted annual movements at the London-area Farnborough Airport from 28,000 to 50,000 will begin on May 18. This follows Tag’s appeal against a local government decision to block the move. The inquiry will be conducted by central government-appointed planning inspector Christopher Tipping; his decision can be overruled by the UK’s Secretary of State for Transport.
