Mayo Aviation has expanded its charter/ management fleet to 18 aircraft with the acquisition of CharterOps of Portland, Maine. The purchase adds five aircraft–
a Learjet 60, two Hawkers, a Pilatus PC-12NG and a Conquest II–to the Mayo fleet. Mayo Aviation is headquartered at Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colo., and offers charter, aircraft management, maintenance and aeromedical transport. The company’s recently opened Aspen CharterOps base is the only charter operator based at Aspen Pitkin County Airport, and it is approved for the same approach and departure minimums as airlines serving Aspen.
