Hawker Beechcraft C99, Évora, Portugal, Aug. 14, 2009–The French-registered turboprop twin was destroyed and the pilot and passenger were killed when it crashed into a building during a go-around. According to investigators, the aircraft was engaged in skydiving operations when it experienced a loss of power in the left engine. The pilot returned to the airport but during the approach decided to perform a go-around, during which the aircraft turned to the left and struck the building. The Portuguese government is investigating the accident.
