Universal offers integrated tankering solution

Universal Weather & Aviation has added integrated fuel tankering calculations to its UVflightplanner.com system. The new feature went live at last month’s Ebace show in Geneva and allows operators to decide quickly when and how they should fill tanks with fuel during a trip. To use the system, the operator selects the preferred fuel prices at departure and arrival airport from a drop-down list provided by Universal, or the operator can input his own prices. The system analyzes the most cost-efficient way to fuel the aircraft for a given trip based on the flight plan. Once the decision is made, the operator can then place the fuel order through UVflightplanner.com, which issues a fuel release to the supplier.
