Content Body

Rizon Jet has agreed to provide additional charter capacity for Kazakhstan-based operator Prime Aviation. Under an initial four-month contract the Qatar-based operator will provide blocks of flight time in one of its Bombardier Challenger 605s to cover the months of May through August. The aircraft will be based in Almaty or Astana as required. Prime mainly operates a fleet of aircraft managed purely for their private owners, and almost all of its aircraft operate under the Isle of Man or Aruban registers and as such are not subject to the European Union ban on Kazakh-registered aircraft. Prime Aviation president Michael O’Brien told AIN that the company operates to ICAO standards and is close to getting EASA Part 145 approval for its maintenance division.
