Casa C-212 Aviocar, Republic of Congo, June 19, 2010–The unpressurized turboprop twin was carrying Australian mining magnate Ken Talbot when it crashed into the jungle approximately 25 minutes after takeoff on a flight from Yaounde, Cameroon, to a remote Congolese mining site. The two crew and nine passengers on board were killed. Talbot and his party had flown to Cameroon aboard his Bombardier Global Express, which proved too large for the destination runway, necessitating the switch to the chartered Aero-Service Casa.
