Dassault Falcon predicts that Brazil will be one of the fastest-growing markets in the world for business aviation as the industry recovers, company president and CEO John Rosanvallon said today at the 2010 Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (Labace) in São Paulo. “Brazil has experienced a healthy growth in GDP and benefits from a diversified economy built on exports. All of the elements for a bright future in Brazil are in place,” he added. Dassault Falcon expects its more than 60-percent market share for large-cabin business jets in Brazil to continue to grow as 13 new Falcons are delivered in the country over the next five years. “Dassault Falcon delivered the first Falcon in Brazil more than 30 years ago and opened our first office here 15 years ago,” said Rosanvallon. “Our commitment grew when we were the first manufacturer to open a service center here.” This facility in Sorocaba opened in June last year and recently received FAA certification to perform maintenance on U.S.-registered aircraft. Dassault has hired three additional employees this year at the Sorocaba service center to meet current and future demand there.
