Tac Air cut the ribbon on its new 12,000-sq-ft executive terminal and 45,000-sq-ft hangar at Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Ky., on July 28. Tac Air had been operating at Blue Grass for 13 years. The new FBO project cost $11 million, according to Greg Arnold, president and CEO of Tac Air parent Truman Arnold Companies. Amenities at the new Tac Air FBO include a high-definition movie theater, exercise facilities, wireless printing from laptops and smartphones, showers and pilot lounge with private sleep rooms and a passenger waiting lounge that can be partitioned for privacy. The terminal also has two conference rooms and an art gallery as well as a replica Beech Staggerwing hanging from the atrium ceiling.
