Rotorcraft Services Group (RSG) is rebranding subsidiaries Texas Aviation Services and Integrated Flight Systems as RSG Aviation and RSG Products, respectively. The Fort Worth-based holding company acquired both in 2007. “We set up RSG in 2007 with the intent to acquire companies operating in the rotorcraft industry,” Ed Bolden, the company’s president, told AIN. “We looked at maintenance providers, completions and refurbishment centers and anything that had to do with helicopters.” Texas Aviation Services was a 39-year-old MRO and completions facility on Meacham Field, where RSG was already located. Reno, Nev.-based Integrated Flight Systems had been in business since 1985 as a PMA facility manufacturing proprietary air conditioners for helicopters. It was relocated to Meacham Field after the acquisition. RSG Aero Design was added in 2008 and serves as the company’s engineering design firm. “By next week all the buildings will have signage indicating Rotorcraft Services Group,” said Bolden. “We’re offering MRO services including completions, interiors, painting, avionics and component overhaul for all Bell aircraft.” The company is a Bell customer service center and an AgustaWestland service center and also works on Eurocopter, Sikorsky and Enstrom helicopters.
