Content Body

If Cessna were looking for a score on the new interior design for its Citation X upgrade, it might well be a 10.

A fuselage plug adds 15 inches to the cabin length, and a good five or six inches more seated legroom. The cabin will be 25 feet long, 5 feet 7 inches high and 5 feet 5 inches wide.

The additional 15 inches also increases space between the two double-club sections so all eight chairs can be fully reclined. And the seats are roomier and have retractable armrests.

Each passenger seat will have an intuitive touch-screen control unit that doubles as a video monitor, as well as 110/220-volt electrical outlets and multiple USB interface plugs. A proprietary fiber-optic-based cabin management system from Heads Up Technologies will include the latest interface options for greater in-flight productivity
and connectivity.
