Aero Charter Jet Center Expands at Spirit of Saint Louis

Aero Charter Jet Center has broken ground on a $4 million expansion program at its FBO facility at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo. The improvements, which will more than double the current capacity, include a new 30,000-sq-ft hangar, 4,200 sq ft of shop space and more than 100,000 sq ft of ramp area. The 32-year-old aviation services provider outgrew its current space built in 1998. The company, which now employs approximately 40 people, said it will be hiring additional pilots, mechanics and other staffers. The project is slated for completion this summer.
