Precision Aviation Acquires Gardner Aviation Specialist

Atlanta, Ga.-based Precision Aviation Group (PAG) has acquired Gardner Aviation Specialist. GAS, a Peachtree City, Ga.-based company, is an FAA repair station offering avionics installations, glass-panel upgrades, aircraft maintenance and MRO services. The acquisition allows PAG to expand the services it provides to customers operating fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. GAS operates out of a 35,000-sq-ft hangar on Falcon Field. “The acquisition of GAS expands the services we can provide to our customers. The two companies complement one another, allowing us to expand our internal MRO capabilities. Also, expanding our strategic partnerships with OEMs is critical for our long-term success. GAS brings 22 OEM relationships that will allow us to greatly expand the number of products we offer,” said David Mast, PAG president and CEO. The company provides parts and MRO services to helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft through its Precision Heliparts and Precision Accessories & Instruments divisions. The MRO offers more than 8,500 different products, including accessories, avionics, hydraulics, instruments, NDT, starter/generators and wheels/brakes.
