Independent FBO network Paragon Aviation Group has added five members: Maguire Aviation at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in California, Aero Air at Portland-Hillsboro Airport (HIO) in Oregon, Galvin Flying Service at Boeing Field/King County International Airport (BFI) in Seattle, First Aviation Services at Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey and XJet at Centennial Airport (APA) in Colorado. “We’re really focused right now on just taking locations that are premium quality with premier service,” said Paragon president Michael Delk, “because each FBO in essence represents each of the other FBOs.” The seven former U.S. Odyssey Aviation locations were removed from the group’s recently formed roster after the chain’s sale to Landmark Aviation. Delk expects initially to be able to provide discounts on flight tracking software, car rentals and hotel discounts based on the group’s increased buying power. Eventually, Paragon hopes to pass savings along to its members in other areas, such as accounting software and insurance.
